TCU Spring Game Recap

The date is April 22nd 2022, my first full day in Austin after an eventful but not super stressful travel day. Wondering how I am going to spend my day I awake and head with my father to The Omelettry. With an uneventful friday ahead of us we start scouring the internet for things to do in Austin. It was then I stumbled upon a tweet by Colin Simmons, a Duncanville High School edge Rusher, five star and fan of the page that read “I will be attending TCU Spring Game today”. It was then I knew where I needed to be that night. Just learning that TCU was hosting their spring game that evening we finished up our omelets, went back to the airbnb, grabbed a change of clothes and hit the road. On our way to Fort Worth we stopped at the world’s smallest gas station (sarcasm) known as Buc-ees. There we purchased one of their twenty dollar camo coolers, two celsius drinks and some coffee. Traffic through Waco was slow, but once we got into Fort Worth everything was fine. We ate a late lunch at the Fort Worth Stockyards and headed to Amon G. Carter Stadium.
